The founding partners are career musicians in professional orchestras
and members of the American Federation of Musicians.
Timothy Staron is instructor of violin at Hiram College and conductor of the Hiram College Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Staron holds a Master of Music in violin performance from Kent State University. His performing experience spans four decades and includes the Cleveland Chamber Symphony specializing in contemporary music while in residence at Cleveland State University, Trinity Cathedral Orchestra featuring baroque and early classical repertoire, and Ohio Ballet Orchestra. Area orchestras include Akron, Canton, and Youngstown Symphonies. In addition to his classical career Mr. Staron performs with national touring popular groups at Blossom Music Center, Cleveland Playhouse Square, E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, and other prominent venues throughout Ohio.
Thomas Pleban is a violist and Library Manager with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. He received a Bachelor of Music in viola performance from Kent State University. While completing his studies, Mr. Pleban was awarded numerous performance scholarships granted by the Sinfonia Society through the Kent State University Foundation. He participated in the Blossom Festival School, Cleveland Orchestra. Mr. Pleban has been an adjunct faculty viola instructor at the Stark branch of Kent State University. His performance activities demonstrate a wide range of experience from solo and chamber ensembles to area symphony orchestras including Lyric Opera Cleveland, Playhouse Square Theatres, and Akron and Canton Symphony Orchestras.
Michael Koscso is Director of Artistic Operations and a cellist with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. He also served as Personnel Manager and Music Librarian at the Breckenridge Music Festival in Breckenridge, Colorado. Mr. Koscso earned a Bachelor of Music in cello performance at Kent State University and a Master of Music in cello performance at Miami University. He participated in many prestigious summer music festivals, including Grand Teton Orchestral Seminar, Aspen Music Festival, and Eastern Music Festival. Mr. Koscso performs with many area orchestras and is an experienced soloist and chamber ensemble musician. As an independent contractor he hires symphonic ensembles for renowned music organizations including Summit Choral Society, Malone University, and major regional churches.
